The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring angels, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to undertake their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might appear mismatched, but the actions of the third episode show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group knows exactly where to go next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death initiated the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer knows the northern area and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to execute Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as important members in the powerful family could help the team access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter pledged a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now follow him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The healer defied the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This means them little choice but to travel to the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the combat party will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to assemble the Explorers and Planners parties.

Viewers can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be where in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on next week.
